Here's my volunteering post! I spend too much time on computers, but none the less I am experienced with both Windows and UNIX based operating systems and hardware. I am an experienced PHP and CSS scripter and have my own personal website. I can most likely help people with troubleshooting problems on here, as I am doing with H1TMAN right now! :)

dudes, the vid is kewl, might need to be a lil shorter if you're puttin it in the game, maybe in B&W or adding an overlay effect.
oohh, and jus a film-making tip;
if you drop the frame rate to low-band NTSC (23fps or less), then re-encode it at the original frame rate it gives it "that moive look".

Hi Aargon,
Are you still running with the borked display? If its a driver issue, the game definitely won't work even if you manage to start a game. The warnings are fine, the missing textures are just small referencing errors in the models, and the deprecation warnings are due to a recent change in cs.

game looks good but it would be nice to have some sort of tutorial or somthing for what the controls are.

while trying to figure out how to nuke myself i did figure out how to fire my weapons and how to que up a chat window.

and i dont konw what video everyone is talking about. i saw no video.

and i think it may just be my system messing with the physics but when i turned to full lock it toook a long time to re center.

made it drive funny.

i love the charactaristics though. the bounce when you land from a jump is killer. great job guys!

There's a shortcut to the readme in the start menu folder for IO :)

Hey guys, nice work! This is a definitely good start. I think someone else mentioned it b4, but the steering is very ackward, if I don't tap the turning keys (ie if i hold them) the car will just keep turning. I don't know if this was intentional or not but it seems weird for the keyboard. Also, I think the notepad said W/S and A/D for controls but isn't it really the arrow keys?? (it was on my installation).
BTW I believe that if the player doesn't enter a name in the Garage then their game will crash unexpectedly when they try to enter the game (single or multi). Might want to fix that or force a name choice or something because it took me a while to figure out why it wouldn't run, heh.
But great work nonetheless, I see potential...

I'm fairly sure that (at least on the windows release) the default name is Everett Champion -- the name of the character in the intro video.

Was that not the case when you installed?

I've played a little and got some feedback from some of the players. Here is a consolidated list for ya...*When falling off the edge of the map it doesn't kill you.
We need some way to kill ourselves. suicide option
*The little back button (arrow) should be labeled.
*The main menu needs a little something added, so people know to click the words on that check.
*When typing a long message. It stays on one line. Making it impossible to read.
*The server screens and chat menus needs a different font.
*Sounds...we need sounds.
*Paint job on the red and white car looks to bright (maybe edit the alpha channel)
*I've also heard a complaint about steering.
example: When steering left then switching to the right...it continues going left for a little bit.
