Like the topic says/asks, does the Interstate Outlaws project is still on?

Sort of. We have small progress here and there, but at the end of the day we are missing a vital link: a programmer.

If I could, I would help you, but I actually programed only a few patches for old games lol. Which Engine will you use? Selfmade?

Edit: Ah, okay, you've used Python for the Alpha. Not bad, you've worked hard on it, that's laudable. But even now I miss the "classic" of Interstate. It looks like an ordinary car shooting game, no offense. ;) And Python as a game engine? Aren't there more suitable engines?

It is currently in limbo due to time restraints, Im currently holding down a full time job and studying for a degree in computing at the same time.

Last builds were based on the UDK Game engine and we were planning on changing the project direction slightly, building for the iPhone/iPad.

if only there were more hours in the day !. ill give an update at christmas have a few weeks off might manage something then.

Nice. Will there be a "Pre-Alpha" soon? Did you achieve some progress recently?
