Red5, that's right, old friend. XP. Don't tell me this new game isn't supported by XP. I mean, that was my problem back in '76. Been eager to get back, if possible. Can it be done?

Pro,

No, it runs on XP and Vista just fine.

If you can give us a few days, I think we might be able to come up with a solution for you. Things are really on overload right now with all of us. Sit tight and hopefully we can figure this out by the end of the week.

Absolutely. Thanks, guys, it'll be fine.

Btw, I just loaded up the game folder, found the python installer and selected "Repair Python" while you were posting. It did and then I tried loading it again. Erm, the update process would then just go on forever, seemingly crashing. So it's entirely seemly that I made it even worse.

Type in CMD "Python" without the quotes, if its a early version go to the map that is in the bar and uninstall the early version, restart the computer and the latest version must be main than, if not, reinstall the latest version and it will be fixed

I'm pretty un-computer saavy when it comes to these things, type in CMD "Python"? Where do I go to do that?

Or if you're just looking for what version I have, I think I remember that it was version 2.4.4. Is that an early or late version?

It means type in 'python' into the command prompt. That is, go to start menu > program files > accessories > Command prompt. Then type in python and press enter.
