Hi, guys! I'd like join to your team as modeler. I'm Kirill from Kyiv, Ukraine. My experience in 3D is from 1998 as hobby and 2 yrs as professional. Usually I model high-poly models but I dream to try myself in low-poly gamedev modeling. Modeling and UV mapping are not a problems. Currently I'm employee of one of the biggest software companies in Ukraine in 3D-designer position but I have some free time to increase my professional skills at home. So, waiting for reply and nothing else matters!

Best regards,
Kirill

Wow, looks like some great stuff you've got there. Thanks for the interest!

I can see you have ICQ in your profile, I'll try to get in touch with you soon.

Micemincer,

We really appreciate the offer. Have you got any examples of your work you can show us?

Logan

Argon,

All of us on the dev team have clearly taken notice that you are interested in helping -- something that we greatly appreciate. However, to be blunt, we're not entirely sure in which field your talents lay. If you'd like to make a new post specifically regarding you and your talents, we would all be more than happy to review it. Of course, we can't promise you anything more than a fair shot like everybody else. The reality is that we're really only looking for people to fill the jobs in the sticky, but as I mentioned to Faited, it's great to have people on file. A post about yourself would, at the very least, help us to understand more about your abilities.

(If necessary, I can make a new topic for this.)
Hi there!
If you need any sfx, I can provide that for you, I am not sure what sounds which are needed though.
The sounds in my archive are made by myself and collected by me during the last two years.
- I was in a team of 25 persons for almost a year, as the leader of the sound department, until the team and forum was closed by the admin/boss. (non-payed team work).

I can provide seamless textures (for terrain, vegetation etc) all made by myself, and I do (very) low-poly modeling. I also do UVmapping/skinning. ^^

About programming, well, I have not been much into C/C++/Python yet, though I know the syntax, etc. -I currently use a high-level programming language called GML ("Game Maker Language" -www.gamemaker.nl -syntax is similar to C++). I can do many sorts of things in GML, and I think that if I read through all the C/C++ resources I have, I might be able to learn more C++ too.
EDIT: I am currently too busy programming other projects.

I have no links to show my work from, but I can show you if that is necessary. :)
About server/domain stuff; have an empty domain at www.bernhoft.no which is the domain my father made/bought some time ago, it has lots and lots of empty space which screams to be filled. ;)

My mail is chb AT bernhoft DOT no.

Hmm, this thread seems quite dead by now.
I guess you guys have all the dev_members you need then. :)

PS: Looking forward to see the final result!
